Car rental contract - FAQ
Answer:You can rent a car at your company, and the director or other representative should not be present when picking up the car, as we will already have the money at our bank account before the rent.
Answer:Have no worries. Our car rental has pro-client approach. So, if you exceed the limit during short term rental, you can whether pay according to the formula "exceeded kilometers * price per kilometer for a given car" or change the tariff itself. We always choose an option which is cheaper and more favorable for you. In case of long term rentals we act according to the article 5.6 of our General terms and conditions, i.e.: "The client can exceed the kilometers maximum to 50% of his/her actual tariff and/or 50% of the returnable deposit. In case this limit is exceeded, the client should pay exceeded kilometers * price per kilometer for a given car, or change the actual tariff." If you know that you will need more kilometers in the future, we can change the tariff right away so that you have no concerns in the future.
Answer:After we recieve a fine, our colleague will contact you in order to find the best solution. Usually you will pay us the fine and we will arrange the rest for you (pay the fine and do all the necessary paperwork with the authorities). If we do not recieve the payment from you in the agreed terms, we would have to inform and send your papers to appropriate authorities, which will then contact you directly and take penalty points from your driver´s licence.
Answer:No, our car rental does not offer cars for taxi services and it is strictly forbidden to use our cars for these purposes.
Answer:Yes, it is possible, you should inform us in advance and agree on the fee for returning the car in another city. The fee is calculated individually, depending on where exactly you want to return the car.
Answer:All warranty and seasonal tyre services are paid by Taggart car rental anywhere in the Czech republic, under simple condition that you should ALWAYS inform us about oil services, other services or any technical issues you have with the car. The exception is damage caused by external factors- damaged tyres, biten cables, or damages caused by driver (cigarette burns, scratches etc).
Answer:In case of short term rentals you can return the car earlier, however according to our terms and conditions you can not claim financial compensation for the remaining days. In case of long term rentals, you can return the car at the end of your rental month or during the rental month (in this case the rent will be transformed into short term), however you should inform us at least 10 days in advance.
Answer:No, Taggart car rental does not have any hidden payments or such limitations.
Answer:The deposit will be returned to you in the same way you paid it. When returning the car, you should have the copy of the contract, so that our colleague can check the car compared to it´s initial state before rental. In case you paid in cash, the deposit will be returned to you immediately. In case of payment by card, the deposit will be unblocked immediately by our colleague, and then it is up to your bank how long it will take to unblock the deposit completely. In case of bank transfer it can take up to 5 working days after you return the car.
